Early to mid 19th Century. Northeast US origin. Hand carved oval to pointed ends shaped Maple wood butter stamp with intricate geometric shapes and canter heart cutouts. Side indentations for holding. Surface retains a nice dry original untouched aged patina. Old museum catalog number on back. In very good condition. Measures 7” long by 2 3/4” wide by 3/4” thick.
