Early 19th century. New England origin. Pine wood with dovetailed and square nailed construction. Original robins egg blue and black paint. Original broken leather hinges. No age cracks in slight dome top lid. Nice dark interior patina. Measures 12" long by 6 1/2" wide by 6 1/8" high.
