19th century. Found in New York state's Champlain Valley region near Vermont. Hand carved with chamfered edges on each side and long handle with hole for hanging. With nice wear and a mellow honey patina on both sides. In very good condition. Measures 11 1/2" long by 5" wide by 1/2" thick.
