Late 19th century. Found in Saratoga County, NY. Made of pine wood with a nice dry original soft mustard and black paint and a mitered molding frame and twin playing piece galleries. With nice expected normal wear. Included is the found with wooden box of a complete set of matching painted wooden checkers. Gameboard measures 28 3/4" by 18 3/4".
