19th Century. Northeastern US origin. Hand stitched and treadle machine sewn polychrome wool and wool felt pennies on wool background with blue cotton backing. With an incredible assortment of hand done folky fretwork on each penny. Measures 50" by 29 1/2". Some wear and fabric loss and fading on backside.
