Mid 19th century. Found out of an early house in Lexington, Massachusetts. Original dry green painted surface with nice wear. The basket was built very sturdy with wooden braces put on the bottom. A few breaks but hard to see. Measures 12 1/2" wide by 13 1/2" deep by 7 3/4" high, 13" high including handle.
