19th century. American. Unsigned. Nice deep and rich oil paints on artist board. Signed in pencil on reverse, "W C Wall". Early pioneer scene with cows grazing at a creek's edge with a mountain forest back drop and men holding rifles over their shoulders and a dog. Nice old cracquelured surface. Measures 16 5/8" high by 9 7/8" wide.
