Early to mid 19th century. New England origin. A superb form with dark nutty patina to the splint weaves and two carved side loop handles, double wrapped rim. and a pushed up demi-john bottom. In excellent condition and very sturdy. Measures 19 1/4" wide by 19" deep by 14" high, including handles.
