Circa 1820. Pennsylvania origin. Original yellow mustard background painted surface with brown ochre decoration done in a very folky pattern on front, top and on both sides. Made from poplar and pine woods with dovetailed construction. Inside covered till box has secret compartment underneath. Original iron hardware hinges and lock. In very good condition with nice normal minor wear. Measures 50” wide by 24” deep by 25 1/2” high.
