Early to mid 19th century. Vermont origin. Pine wood with square nailed construction with four canted sides and built in recessed side handles. Original dry mustard painted surface on the outside and a dark nutty patina inside. Never had a cover. Measures 34" long by 10" high by 17" wide on the top and 12 3/4" wide on the bottom. In very good all original condition.
