Mid 19th century. New England origin. Great classic form. With great dark nutty attic dry patina to the splint. With pushed-up bottom, nicely carved handle and double wrapped rim. Probably of Shaker origin. In excellent condition and very sturdy. Measures 14 1/2" wide by 13 1/2" deep by 7 1/2" high, 12" high including handle.
