Third quarter of 19th century. New England origin. Single pine wood board with a big square nailed, mitered cornered, chamfered frame molding. Double sided gameboard with an incised lined Parcheesi board in original dry dark red, lighter red and dark green paint with a "H" for Home incised in the center of the playing field. A later brown and cream painted checkerboard is painted on the reverse side. Has a brass loop ring for hanging. Measures 15 1/4" square.
